Filmed and edited over three years by a group of students and players, Sideline Story is a feature-length documentary that captures the good, the bad, and the ugly both on and off the court.
Co-directed by Alex Stoddard and Olivia Dabinett, the film documents the 2022–23 season through the perspectives of Stoddard and Spencer Spivy, both players on the team and producers of the film, offering an inside look at life as a collegiate student-athlete.

Through interviews, game coverage, practices, and off-court moments, the production constantly evolved, with the filmmakers learning and refining their approach along the way. The result is a work that blurs the line between participation and documentation, capturing an unfiltered portrait of the 2022–23 season.
